Volunteer movie theaters and bookstores around the country have started selling merchandise featuring the Salvation Army.

The Salvation Army started selling movies and other merchandise in stores, movie theaters, restaurants and other places on Saturday, and is now selling clothing, shoes, accessories, and more, according to the Salvation Association of America.

It said that as of Friday, more than 5 million items had been sold.

The organization also is offering a free movie ticket, a special screening of the movie “A Better Life” in its movie theater, a gift card for an employee, and a free ticket to see “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” at a theater near you.

The nonprofit organization said the movies and the gift cards will go to needy people, including those living in low-income households, those with disabilities, and students who need free or reduced-price meals.

“It’s been a great partnership with the Salvation Alliance,” Salvation Army President Jeff Green said in a statement.

“It’s an honor to help people in need.”

The Salvation Alliance is the largest religious charity in the United States, and its goal is to make the world a better place through volunteerism and philanthropy.

Its volunteer programs have helped hundreds of thousands of people in more than 100 countries, according the Salvation General Counsel John O’Donnell.
